What Aligner Tracker does
Aligner Tracker is a local-first tool for recording the clear-aligner treatment prescribed by your orthodontist or other clinician. You can record when your trays are in or out, change trays, review treatment history and statistics, correct recorded times, share a progress summary, and configure local reminders.
How reminders work
You can configure on-device reminders for when your trays have been out longer than your chosen duration and for scheduled tray changes. Reminders are scheduled locally on your iPhone. Their delivery depends on notification permission and device settings such as Focus, notification summaries, and notification sounds.
Offline use and accounts
Core tracking does not require an account or an internet connection. Your treatment records are stored locally on your iPhone. Aligner Tracker version 1.0 does not provide production cloud backup or restore.
Troubleshooting
Notifications are not appearing
In Aligner Tracker, review the settings under Notifications and confirm the reminder you want is enabled. In the iPhone Settings app, confirm that Aligner Tracker is allowed to send notifications. Focus modes and other device notification settings can delay or suppress alerts.
Wear times are missing or unexpected
Review your recorded IN and OUT history using Edit In/Out Times. The correction tools let you fix a forgotten or incorrect entry so totals and statistics can be recalculated.
You reinstalled the app or changed phones
Treatment records are stored locally on the device. Version 1.0 does not include an Aligner Tracker cloud-restore service, so do not rely on the app to restore local records after a reinstall or on a new phone.
You want to reset the app
Reset App removes your local treatment data only after you confirm the action. This cannot be undone. Reset App is not account deletion or subscription cancellation; version 1.0 does not require an account or offer a subscription.

- your iPhone model and iOS version;
- the Aligner Tracker app version and build number;
- the steps that led to the issue; and
- whether notifications were enabled, if the issue involves reminders.
Please do not send sensitive health information by email.
